IAN
MITCHELL - BAY CITY ROLLERS
Ian
Mitchell joined the Rollers on April 1, 1976 at age 17 as a replacement for
co-founder Alan Longmuir. Ian participated in the band's reunions in the 1980s. His guitar
and vocal work are heard on the Rollers' hit 1976 album "Dedication" and the 1985 release "Breakout." He has also performed
with the groups Young City Stars, Rosetta Stone, La Rox and The Ian Mitchell Band. Mitchell uses the name Bay City
Rollers featuring Ian Mitchell; however, Ian is the only former Bay City Roller
in his group. The line-up includes Craig Else (former member of the band Petit
Cheval.), lead vocalist Eric Crabb, and Carlo Driggs (formerly of Paul Revere
and the Raiders). www.ianmitchell.com
